What is the use of a table in a word?
Tables used as an alternative to spreadsheets for organising data. A well-designed table conveys information in a more meaningful way than the simple written text.
What are the different ways of inserting a table in MS Word 2010?
There are three ways of inserting a table in MS Word 2010:
1. Using Table Grid, 2. Using Insert Table Option, 3. Using Draw Table Option.
What is the difference between a row and a column?
The difference is that a row arranges data horizontally from left to right and a column arranges data vertically from top to bottom. Columns and Rows are based different on how they align data.
What is a cell?
A table is an organised arrangement of text in the form of rows and columns. The intersection of a column and a row is called a cell.
How can you split a table?
Answer: To split a table, Follow these steps:
• Place the cursor inside a cell from where you want split the table.
• Click on the Layout tab.
• Select the Split Table option in the Merge group.
• Table will be split into two tables.
